multiple-media.com launches MMCM-Blog
A user-friendly way to create and post company blogs
The Montreal-based Web agency,
multiple-media.com, which recently celebrated six years of
operation, launched this week a platform for developing and
managing company blogs. It is a system that is particularly
relevant and effective in today's communications and marketing
environment.
Many experts have stated that blogs are set to
sweep the marketing and public relations spheres. Already,
numerous businesses are launching their own blogs or preparing to
do so. Their objectives are: build traffic to their site; raise
their profile among search engines; expand business and
partnership opportunities; and in the final analysis, increase
sales.
"The blog is a massive trend and an unstoppable
phenomenon," explains Renato Cudicio, president of
multiple-media.com. "In this age of Consumer Generated Media
(CGM), blogs are taking the online community in a whole new
direction, toward what is being called Web 2.0, which is
characterized by interactivity and participation. The wave is
starting to be felt, and we are offering businesses the know-how
and technologies to position themselves profitably in this
revolution."
MMCM-Blog
is the most recent module of a suite of online content management
applications whose flagship is Multiple Media Content Manager
(MMCM). This user-friendly solution is currently being used by
many companies in Canada. MMCM-Blog is thus based on proven
technology and offers the same features: flexibility, ease of use
and security of company data.
Research indicates that the influence of blogs
goes well beyond the sphere of communications. Since blogs permit
any service to receive direct feedback from customers and even
interact with them, the process of developing products, services
and even a corporate culture is evolving toward greater
transparency and openness.
Blogs also increase search engine visibility.
Since the number of links to a site is an important factor in the
relevance and order of search results, the more incoming links a
given blog has, the better its page position will be.
