multiple-media.com Launches 32 Web Sites with MMCM, its Web Content Manager
A breakthrough in online insurance and financial activities in Canada
multiple-media.com recently announced that it
has succeeded - in only a few weeks - in building and launching
32 sites for as many insurance and financial services brokerages
throughout Canada. This tour de force was made possible thanks to
MMCM 6, the latest version of the online content management
technology developed by the Montreal Web agency.
MMCM 6, a highly powerful web-based CMS (Content
Management Solution), allows multiplemedia.com to offer brokers
personalized sites but with access to common content.
"Brokers will have a wealth of syndicated
content and various applications they can draw from", explains
Renato Cudicio, president of multiple-media.com. "They will be
able to update their site with content such as product
information, FAQs, consumer tips and general information about
insurance."
Each broker chooses from a series of templates
and color schemes, and multiple-media integrates the content that
is specific to the broker with information about products and
services that vary according to the areas and the markets
targeted by the broker, in French, English or both.
The main challenge, in this case, was to
simultaneously manage and launch a large number of sites which
had common content but were still very unique to each brokerage
business. multiple-media.com manages the hosting and the
technical support. Brokers who wish to do so can use MMCM, which
requires no special Web technology expertise, to manage their
site themselves.
Among the broker sites built and managed via
MMCM are Macdonald Chisholm Trask Insurance (MCTI) (
http://www.mcti.ca) in Eastern
Canada, Univesta (
http://www.univesta.ca), in
Quebec, and Godfrey-Morrow (
http://www.godfreymorrow.com),
in Western Canada.

Officially launched early August 2007, this
latest version of MMCM includes key functionalities that
consolidate its position as leading CMS of its category:
management of common and specific contents from a single
interface; automatic deployment of differentiated contents on
multiple sites; optimized indexing, for better search engine
visibility. New safety and control features have also been added
in order to exceed the expectations of the most demanding
organizations.
Created in 1997, multiple-media.com is a
one-stop shop for Web strategy and application development. The
Montreal company differentiates itself through the quality of its
customer service, the reliability of its solutions, and the
quality of its completed projects, which stems from an authentic
convergence between communications and technologies.
