Multiple media.com at school

One of Québec's most important Schoolboards, the CSMB, has just launched its new portal, built by multiple media.com, as part of a strategy aiming to optimize its communication tools.

With its new graphic design that leverages the latest findings in terms of usability, the site will make it easy for parents, teachers, students, job seekers, journalists and the general public to find relevant information.

Thus, school professionals will find links to sites created by their colleagues on various educational topics, and a special tool will allow parents who have just moved to an area to easily locate their children's new school. The portal will also keep visitors informed about the Schoolboard's current events, and offer links to the sites of its various schools and training centers. A leading-edge technical infrastructure will feed the Shoolboard's portal with up-to-date addresses and phone numbers of its various institutions from a central database, thus eliminating the risk of errors as well as tedious data entry.

The CSMB Schoolboard will use MMCM, the user-friendly content management tool developed by multiple-media.com, to update the portal, eliminating the need for highly technical skills.
