Award-winning caaquebec.com makes a strong entry in Quebec’s Top 25 Best Sites.

Once more, multiple-media.com demonstrates the power of a user-centric approach by creating, in cooperation with the CAA-Quebec team, a Web site that definitely stands out!

www. caaquebec.com achieved the 12th position in the Internet Secor Commerce Index of the 25 Top consumer promotional and/or transactional Web sites in Quebec. Among other things, multiple-media.com created the design and the information architecture of the new site, and carried out the usability tests. “This success is the result of a user-focused design strategy and of a collaboration between the two teams that is quite unique”, said Renato Cudicio, president of multiple-media.com. “CAA-Quebec worked very closely with us, and that can make an enormous difference”. The resulting Web site competed with those produced by large corporations whose budgets are way beyond the range of a not-for-profit organisation–regardless how well known and appreciated it is by the Quebec public.

This is not a premiere for multiple-media.com: in 2006, Cogeco’s pan-Canadian site jumped from 17th to 7th position in the Top 25 after being completely redesigned and rebuilt by the Montreal agency.

Thanks to the new site built by multiple-media.com, CAA-Quebec also reaped two awards handed out by the AAA.

First, caaquebec.com won the AAA’s Highest % Changes in Internet Sales, after recording the largest online sales increase, showing once again that user-friendliness goes hand in hand with profitability!

caaquebec.com also won the AAA’s Top Internet Visitor Satisfaction, highlighting the fact that it garnered the highest satisfaction rate among visitors.

Finally, the CAA-Quebec site was a finalist, in the large organisation category, for the Mérites du français, one of the excellence awards for the use of French in information technologies which are handed out by the Office québécois de la langue française.

The SECOR-Commerce Internet Index, the most comprehensive Web evaluation index in Quebec, is designed to measure the value added potential of consumer Web sites, particularly those with a promotional or transactional focus. Together, Secor, Commerce magazine and their partners aim at producing a rigorous comparative evaluation–beyond visitor statistics–of the added value of major sites, for the companies who build them and consumers who visit them.
