A new site for the Montreal Heart Institute

The Montreal Heart Institute now has a new Web site, built by multiple-media.com and powered by MMCM, multiple-media.com's Content Management System (CSM).

Coordinated by Doris Prince, Manager, Communications and Public Relations, the project, which required broad input and participation within the Institute, is to undergo further development phases over the coming months.

Robert Busilacchi, the MHI's Director general, said that “[The new Web site] stands out for the clarity of its presentation and overall usability, as well as the abundance and relevance of its information. Totally focussed on excellence, [it] disseminates information for the general public as well as patients and their families, health professionals, scientific researchers, students, decision-makers, and donators interested in the Institute. It also hosts special sections such as the MHI Foundation,
Centre for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and the promotion of physical activity (Centre ÉPIC) and the Montreal Heart Institute Coordinating Center (MHICC).”

Using the MMCM content management tool, the Institute's communication team will be able to perform real-time updates of the new site without calling upon the help of Web specialists.
